Estrenamos año nuevo y con ello vienen nuevos propósitos, como aprender a surfear o bien como viajar a nuevos destinos de surf por descubrir, como Lanzarote. 

Si has surfeado anteriormente ya sabrás que las Islas Canarias son sin duda un paraíso surfista. En alguna ocasión hemos hablado del surf en Fuerteventura, de sus olas y de la riqueza de la isla. 

En esta ocasión me gustaría hablaros de un destino que estoy deseando conocer: Lanzarote. 

Como ya sabéis a la hora de conocer un destino surfero siempre me gusta hacerlo de la mano de profesionales, sobre todo si es la primera vez que visito un lugar. 

Para mi lo mejor es realizar al menos una semana o unos días haciendo un surf camp en Canarias o en el destino que elija para sumergirme de lleno en las olas del lugar de la mano de locales.

En el caso de Lanzarote recomiendo hacerlo de la mano de SurfCanarias. 

Surf en Lanzarote: Playa de Famara

Tanto si quieres aprender a surfear como si quieres progresar con tu surf, sin duda Famara es el mejor spot que puedes encontrar en la isla de Lanzarote. 

Una playa de arena en una isla rocosa, con surf constante, un regalo para surfers de todos los niveles y sobre todo una playa perfecta tanto para aprender como para mejorar tu surf. 

Dada su orografía la hace una playa perfecta para aprender a surfear, ya que sus olas son constantes y largas por el centro de la misma. 

Si por el contrario eres todo un pro y lo que quieres es disfrutar de olas más rápidas donde poder maniobrar, los extremos de Famara son perfectos para tu, ya que el fondo más rocoso crean olas más huecas y rápidas donde disfrutar sobre la tabla.

Uno de los puntos positivos de este spot es el buen rollo y la buena convivencia de surfistas novatos con otros más experimentados. También destaca por su belleza y su distintivo color de arena volcánica. 

Surf Canarias: La escuela de surf de Lanzarote

Como recomendación para conocer mejor esta playa y esta isla os presento la escuela de surf y surfcamp “Surf Canarias”. 

Esta escuela lleva 25 años dando servicio a tanto nuevos como experimentados surfistas, y lo mejor de todo es que se encuentra a 100 metros de la playa. 

Por supuesto son una opción perfecta para realizar un curso de surf en Lanzarote y aprender de mano de profesionales. Así como alojarte en sus instalaciones en caso de que seas un surfer experimentado y prefieras ir por libre, o realizar otras actividades complementarias como yoga, kayak u otras actividades recreativas. 

Es por ello que además de sus surfcamps para adultos o niños tienen viajes dedicados para empresas o grupos. 

Aprender a surfear en Famara

Si estás buscando opciones para dar tus primeros pasos en el surf o bien para mejorar los conocimientos medios que ya puedes tener, lo mejor es seguir un curso de surf. 

La escuela SurfCanarias ofrece varios formatos según el tiempo disponible que tengas (aunque por experiencia te recomiendo quedarte al menos una semana). 

Los días se dividen en 2,5h de clases de surf por las mañanas dejando las tardes libres para realizar otras actividades como yoga, voley playa, turismo o simplemente recorrer este increíble paraíso. 

Cuando ir a surfear a Famara

Canarias es sin duda un destino de surf para ir todo el año. Según tu nivel podrás esperar unas condiciones u otras en el agua, pero lo que si es seguro que en Lanzarote encontrarás buenas condiciones todo el año, sea cual sea tu nivel de surf. 

A título personal te recomiendo ir fuera de la temporada estival, simplemente porque es una gozada disfrutar del sol y de las cálidas temperaturas sabiendo que en el resto de la península el resto de tus colegas van con abrigo y botas

2020 was a year like no other in living memory, and even the sesh-sanctuary of Ibiza wasn’t immune from the massive repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic. Last year was the first time since the inception of the clubbing scene on the Balearic island that the Ibiza superclubs were unable to open.

Which is exactly why 2021 has the potential to be massive.

Vaccines, increased rapid-testing and the nature of the virus could prove to be a turning point, giving hope that the end (of the pandemic) is nigh, filling us with the confidence of a man telling the bouncer he’s sober after his third pinger has just kicked in.

It’s been way too long since our last night bouncing through the clubs of Ibiza chewing our faces off trying to slurp that last drop of liquid out of a €12 bottle of water, which may sound a touch nightmarish for those who’ve never been lucky enough to visit one of these down and dirty discotheques – but we just can’t wait to get back.

From DJs and club owners to Insta-influencers and regular Joes like you and me, there are plenty of people itching for a glorious return to the party mecca. And with vaccines rolling out in countries across the world, there’s a distinct possibility that we could see this happening in a few months’ time. Only time will tell, but until then, let’s see how things could be shaping up this summer.

Who is already confirmed?

Whilst it isn’t 100% verified whether superclubs will reopen in 2021, that doesn’t mean promoters haven’t been busy building some killer lineups for what could be the biggest summer Ibiza has seen in decades. There’s some fresh faces floating around, as well as some old heads who’ve been on the scene for donkey’s years, and the chance to see some of these guys has got our heart pumping nearly as fast as those dodgy pills you used to get from the fella out the back of the men’s bogs in Privilege… nearly. 

Here’s a taste of who we can look forward to seeing this summer:

DAVID GUETTA

It feels like this guy has been around since we were in diapers, and while he may have spent a good few years in the early 2010’s acting like a right twat, you can’t take away from the fact that he is an incredibly talented DJ. If you can excuse the ridiculous title of his Hï Ibiza residency (F*** ME I’M FAMOUS!) you’ll be in for a treat, with Guetta going back-to-back with some of the world’s biggest and brightest DJ’s every Friday night.

FISHER

FISHER completely blew up onto the world stage a couple years ago with his summer banger “Losing It” after making a name for himself in Australia as an ex-WQS surfer and blogger. Now a household name across the globe, things have only been on the up and up since then, following up his unforgettable Coachella set with performances at Tomorrowland and Lollapalooza, not to mention a Grammy nomination under his belt. In 2021, Fish has got himself an Ibiza residency at Hï Ibiza – definitely one to keep an eye on.

JAMIE JONES

Jamie Jones is a man of many talents, a DJ, producer, label boss at Hot Creations and curator of legendary global party night Paradise. Formerly of the DC10 parish, Paradise is moving across to Amnesia in 2021, after being hosted in cities across the world from Miami to Moscow. A pillar of the Ibiza party scene, we can’t wait to see what Jones has to offer at his new home in 2021. 

HOW MIGHT IT WORK?

Whilst we’d sniff a line of baking powder off Wayne Linekar’s big toe to get back to the way things were in Ibiza, it’s gonna be awhile before things go back to normal. We are, after all, still in the midst of a pandemic, and people’s safety has got to be the key priority.

That being said, venues and club owners are working hard to ensure the safety of punters in a number of ways. The most prominent of these looks to be similar to the track and trace app that has been rolled out in several countries, including the UK, Australia and NZ, but with a more stringent criteria.

According to DJ Mag, a new app called Liberty Pass could be used as a sort of golden ticket to allow entry into clubs in Ibiza in 2021. As per DJ Mag, “the app collects official information from collaborating medical centres about antigen tests, PCR tests and vaccines” to then give you a QR code, following negative results. The QR code will last for 72 hours for PCR tests, or for the valid length of the vaccine, if you’ve already been administered one.

This would be on top of precautions that are already in place, such as regular use of hand sanitiser and facemasks, and while nothing has been confirmed, this could be the way forward as a solution for the Ibiza season in 2021.

What if the clubbing season isn’t on?

It might surprise you, but there’s actually more to Ibiza than getting cooked as a crumpet until you get kicked out of a club. It is, would you believe it, actually fucking beautiful – why do you think all these hedonistic miscreants turned up to the island in the 70’s in the first place?

THE BEACHES

One of the luxuries of Ibiza being a relatively small island is that you’re never more than an hour away from the beach. These can range from resort beaches, fronted by promenades filled with hotels and tourist traps, to hidden coves and rugged cliffs that can be a little harder to find, but that host only a fraction of the seaside audience – we know where we’d rather be.

THE HIPPY MARKETS

After an influx of free-spirits and hippie types in the 70’s, Ibiza became a hot-spot for counter-culture idealists, and that spirit still lives on today on the eastern stretches of the island, where hippy markets can be found strewn across the coast. Whilst most sell trinkets, tokens, jewellery and clothes, the east coast of the island is no stranger to a good shin-dig either, and you’ll find the beers and food to be a fraction of the price.

ISLAND HOPPING

Ibiza is one of four islands in the Balearics, with Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera rounding out the quartet. Mallorca is the biggest of the four, and is worth a gander for anyone with an appetite for architecture, where you can find the other Gaudi cathedral. Otherwise, a 20 minute ferry to the smallest of the islands, Formentera is definitely worth an outing for anyone wanting to slow things down, or needing a place to come down, after a couple of mad nights in Ibiza.

Should I book flights yet?

It’s a risky one, as not all airlines are being quite as flexible as your mates at Stoke Travel, and it can be a right pain in the arse trying to chase up a refund for a flight that never took off. Nevertheless, at the time of writing, in early January, flights to Ibiza from the UK are dirt cheap. Last we checked, April 2021 flights to Ibiza are as low as £21 from London Stansted, so could indeed be worth the punt if you’ve got your eye on an early Ibiza holiday.

In news that will satisfy festival enthusiasts, beer lovers and hedonists of all stripes, in an exclusive interview with Munich radio station, 95.5 Charivari, Oktoberfest boss Clemens Baumgärtner has stated that “We assume that there will be an Oktoberfest this year.”
Acknowledging that preparations for Oktoberfest are a year-round undertaking, and expressing faith in vaccines, treatment options, dropping case numbers in Munich, and rapid testing options, Baumgärtner is so confident that Oktoberfest 2021 will go ahead that he has ok’d the commencement of the annual public poster competition, and pre-preparation measures are currently underway.

He also says that he is against any idea of an “Oktoberfest light”, instead opting for measures that will prevent potentially infected revellers from attending, like required proof of a negative test, or vaccination, at the event’s gates.

He did add that a final decision would be made at the beginning of June, but remained confident that the event would be as big, beer-filled and boisterous as ever.

Munich Lord Mayor, Dieter Reiter stated at a press conference on April 29th that Oktoberfest would be held from the 17th of September to the 3rd of October 2022, “without conditions and without restrictions”.

He went on the state that “the cancellation of Oktoberfest 2022 is not possible”, and that, “ultimately, it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves anyway whether and how much they want to celebrate at the Volksfest (Oktoberfest).”

I believe that we will experience a mega Wiesn (Oktoerbfest) 2022. Because we are already experiencing at the Spring Festival (Springfest) how great people’s desire to celebrate is.”

Uno de mis destinos favoritos para hacer surf es sin lugar a dudas, Fuerteventura. Y se que no estoy sola en esto. Cada amigo que hago allí, cada persona que conozco que ha surfeado en la isla canaria vuelve una y otra vez a Fuerte a surfear. 

Su magnetismo, su clima y sobre todo sus olas, te atraen y te hacen volver a disfrutar una y otra vez de sus cálidas playas. 

Esta isla cuenta con decenas de spots repartidos entre el norte y el sur de la misma. En ocasiones escondidos detrás de largas carreteras de tierra, y de lomas volcánicas. 

Es por ello,  que una de las mejores maneras de conocer las olas de la isla es a través de locales o profesionales, en mi caso siempre he optado por una escuela, especialmente si estás empezando. 

Las olas de las islas Canarias son diferentes a las olas de la península, sobre todo si estás acostumbrado al surf en el Mediterráneo y tener a alguien guiándote entre sus aguas te ayudará a disfrutar al máximo de las maravillosas aguas canarias. 

Clases de surf personalizadas en Fuerteventura

En esta situación especial que estamos viviendo, puede que hayas aprovechado el teletrabajo para aprender a surfear en Canarias, o bien para pasar allí una temporada y mejorar tu surf. 

Pero claro, para cumplir la jornada laboral lo que necesitas es flexibilidad horaria a la hora de meterte en el agua. Si este es tu caso la mejor opción es optar por hacer clases privadas de surf en Fuerteventura. 

Tanto si estás empezando en el surf como si ya tienes algo de experiencia con este deporte, meterse acompañado en el agua es imprescindible para disfrutar al máximo de tu baño. 

La isla de Fuerteventura tiene un montón de spots que descubrir según tu nivel, dirección del swell y condiciones. Es por ello que tanto si tienes experiencia o no te recomendamos ir con un profesional y conocedor de la isla, para poder conocer las mejores playas y olas, y sacar el máximo partido de tu tiempo en esta maravillosa isla. 

Hisurf, escuela de surf en el Cotillo

El Cotillo es uno de los surf spots más populares de Fuerteventura. De ambiente pescador, surfero y bohemio, con una bonita playa natural en sus pies donde las olas se consideran ideales tanto para principiantes como surfistas más experimentados. 

En este paraje encontrarás la escuela Hi Surf, proyecto de Jordi, un instructor de surf-coaching que decidió dejar las escuelas de surf para crear su propio método de enseñanza. Actualmente vive en Fuerteventura y allí puedes encontrarle dando clases y surfeando todo el día.

Sus clases son muy especiales, personalizadas al nivel y necesidades del alumno y llenas de buen rollo y diversión.

Nunca da clases de surf para grandes grupos, su especialidad son las clases individuales, en pareja o pequeños grupos de 3-5 personas, y se esfuerza en que sus alumnos expriman todo lo posible el tiempo de la clase para mejorar sus habilidades.

This is where you can find anything and everything about one of our absolute favourite cities San Sebastián and its surrounding regions. Come and get amongst it in 2021 for some world class waves, food so good it’ll ruin your mum’s cooking forever, and a bunch of weird new mates who you’ll probably never want to leave.

Where is San Sebastián?

Alright, so first things first. San Sebastián is in the north-west of Spain. Well, strictly speaking, you’re actually in the Basque Country, an autonomous region of Spain, that also dips into France. Remember this if you want to make friends with any of the locals.

A lot of what we love about San Seb (as we’ve affectionately abbreviated it, because we’re lazy fuckers) stems from the fact that it’s a seaside city, with the river Urumea running directly through the middle, separating the Parte Vieja and the neighbourhood known as Gros (trust us, it’s way better than the name suggests). The coastal city boasts three different beaches, one of which, Playa de la Zurriola, is a surfing hotspot pretty much all year round.

Why go to San Sebastián?

So if you’ve never heard of San Sebastián, there’s a good chance that you are an uncultured swine. But that’s okay – life is about discovering new things. If you have heard of San Sebastián, chances are it will have been for one of two reasons; 1) the food or 2) the surf.

Whilst it may have recently lost its moniker as the capital of European gastronomy (*flips the bird to Paris*) there’s no doubting that the food here will have your tastebuds doing somersaults on every street corner, with the general quality of eateries across the city being ridiculously high. That’s in no small part the reason that, when speaking of San Sebastián, the late, great Anthony Bourdain declared that there are “more outrageously good restaurants per square mile than just about anywhere in Europe – even the bad restaurants are good”.

But while Bourdain may have suggested that his sole purpose in visiting the city was for the food, he’s missing out on the other key draw-card – the waves. While all three beaches in central San Sebastián are surfable, the one that really gets us drooling is Playa de la Zurriola. Situated smack bang in front of the Gros barrio, Zurriola is far and away the superior beach for surfing in San Sebastián, and as such draws in some of the world’s most renowned surfers to catch some of Europe’s best waves.

And although San Sebastián as a city is the crowning jewel of the province of Gipuzkoa, the surrounding areas boast incredible food and consistent waves, all year long – you just have to know where to find them.

Where are the best places to surf in and around San Sebastián?

So as we’ve already discussed, Playa de la Zurriola is a fantastic spot to surf. The only problem is it can get very crowded in the peak of summer – not ideal if you’re just starting out. So we’ve put together a list of a few other spots in the surrounding area.

Playa de Zarautz

Arguably the best beach break in the whole of the Basque Country, Playa de Zarautz is a 2.5km stretch of beach about a 20 minute drive (or half an hour train ride) west of San Sebastián, and the preferred beach of choice for our very own San Sebastián Surf Camp. During the height of summer, Zarautz is perfect for beginner surfers to get to grips with the basics whilst soaking up a bit of sun.

That’s not to say Zarautz is only for newbies and groms – surfers from around the world flock here during the shoulder seasons, as well as June and September, and surf comps like the Duct Tape Invitational and the Pro Zarautz comp for the WSL have been held here in recent years. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to catch Stoke Travel’s very own Mundaka Pro Series.

Playa de Zumaia

If we go a bit further west, you’ll find Playa de Zumaia. If you haven’t heard of it, you might recognise this beach as Dragonstone from some of the later seasons of Game of Thrones. It’s got some pretty spectacular cliffs either side of this beach, and while it’s way smaller than Zarautz, it still has a bunch of waves perfect for those of us with a little bit more experience. We say that, because of the big fuck off rocks that tend to stick out either side of the relatively small expanse of beach. If you’re sneaky, you can paddle out to the caves where Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen get freaky, but you’ll have to watch out for the lifeguards, since they’re kind of not into it (probably because of the aforementioned big fuck off rocks).

Playa de Mundaka

Not quite as reliable as the other beaches we’ve mentioned, Mundaka is a river mouth wave that is usually best surfed outside of the summer season. But when it’s on, by God is it on, making it another favourite for surfers searching for the wave of a lifetime. Mundaka is a fair way away from San Sebastián, around an hour and a half’s drive, and a lot closer to neighbouring Bilbao, but we just couldn’t leave it off the list. La Grande Plage, Biarritz

Going the opposite direction up into France, we like to hit up Biarritz. A swanky little beach town, Biarritz has five beaches in total, but it’s most famous is easily La Grande Plage. Much like La Zurriola, it can be super busy in summer, swarming with locals and beginners alike. But it does also sit right in front of the fancy-pants Biarritz promenade, and makes for quite the picture. Biarritz still maintains its reputation as a getaway for the rich and the famous, which stretches back to the roaring twenties, when it became known as a hub of hedonism and debauchery, attracting the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Pablo Picasso and Winston Churchill.

Where are the best places to eat in San Sebastián?

Having previously held the record for the most Michelin star restaurants per capita in the world, fine dining in San Sebastián is amongst the best you’ll find. However, let’s be realistic – none of us can afford that shite. But that doesn’t mean your tastebuds will be missing out. 

We’ve all heard of the humble tapas, right? Small plate Spanish cuisine, either a snack or appetizer, that when accumulated and combined with a couple of shandies can create one hell of a night out? Well the Basque’s don’t do tapas – they do pintxos. It’s essentially the same thing.

A pintxo can be anything from a simple slice of jamon on bread, to a full on gourmet slow-braised beef cheek – served for one. Prices will depend on where you go, and what you’re getting, but expect to shell out around €1-3 for your classics or €4-6 for your fancier fare. Check out our list of best pintxo spots here.

Alternately, if you’re wanting more of a sit-down meal, we’d suggest heading just inland to Astigarraga for a meal at a traditional Basque Cider House – about as much fun as you can have while keeping your pants on (and even then, sometimes we don’t). Astigarraga has over a dozen different sidrerias, but you’ll find these cider houses dotted all over the Basque country. What to drink in San Sebastián

Like the Asturians and the Cantabrians to the west, the Basques are famed for their traditional tipple, sidra. A dangerously delectable drop, Basque sidra shares very little resemblance to your more common Magners or Old Mout (the drink, you dirty bastards). Made solely using fermented apples, sidra is a lot more sour than what you’d usually expect from a cider, and is completely uncarbonated. As such, you need to learn the ways of a Basque sidra pour.

How to pour Basque Cider:

1. Hold the bottle from the bottom with your dominant hand (not from the neck – you’re not a pirate) and the glass with your other hand
2. Keep the glass level, and start to pour, whilst raising the height from which you’re pouring, so there’s a good distance in between the neck of the bottle and the rim of the glass. The more your practise, the further you can get.
3. Fill only around a gulps worth, “txotx” ya mate, and neck it back. 
4. Repeat.

As the Basques say, “drink little, and often”. The distance is key, so as to aerate the cider, as is the smaller servings, to get the best taste out of your beverage. So don’t be greedy and overdo it with the serving sizes – not only will you look like a silly bastard in front of all your new Basque mates, but your bevy will also taste like piss.

The other typical Basque drink is Txakoli. Txakoli is a tasty little white wine number – a little dry, slightly sparkling, and a tiny bit fancy. It’s relatively low in alcohol for a wine, sitting at 11%, but don’t let that fool you – a bottle or two of these will put you on your arse without you even realising you were drunk. That being said, it’s our tipple of choice if we’re dressing to impress or, you know, if mum’s in town. And even when we wanna party. Speaking of which…

Where to party in San Sebastián

While Ibiza, or Barcelona may well get the party plaudits when it comes to Spain, the Basques certainly know a thing or two about how to throw a shindig and clean up the dance floor. There’s a good selection of clubs across the city that (pandemic notwithstanding) go off, and even more local fiestas that happen throughout the year. We’ve picked out some of our favourites:

Best Nightlife in San Sebastián

Dabadaba

The go-to spot for live music in San Sebastián, Dabadaba has played host to some big names over the years, as well as the legendary Stoke Travel 4th of July Party, previously headlined by Art vs. Science and the Dune Rats. 

Bataplan

One of two saucy seaside discotheques that San Sebastián has to offer, Bataplan looks out over La Concha beach where you can find drunken revelers dancing in the moonlight after a big night on the sauce. Popular with surfers, students and a generally younger crowd, Bataplan’s only downside is that it’s a bit fancy, meaning shorts and flip-flops aren’t gonna cut it, and you’ll likely have to pay a door charge. But once you’re in, it’s on!

GU

A bar on a boat – who doesn’t love that? GU is another spot with a cracker view of La Concha, with an outdoor seated area on the hull of the boat and an upstairs dance floor for when you wanna rip up the floorboards with your shit hot moves. Again, an entry fee is usually required unless you get in early doors, but the price of admission usually includes a drink or two.

Bar Victoria

A little deeper into town, you have more live music in Bar Victoria. Good for bands and DJ sets, the downstairs area goes off of a weekend, and the upstairs outdoor area is right next to the illustrious Hotel Maria Cristina.

Best Festivals in San Sebastián

Semana Grande – last week of August

Semana Grande, literally translates to “big week”, and a big week indeed it is. Pop up bars, live music, parties and events spring up around the city throughout the week, and each night is an international fireworks competition that lights up the city. Like all fiestas across the Basque Country and Spain, don’t expect to get too much sleep.

Fiestas de Basque – second Monday in September

Based just over in Zarautz, Fiestas de Basque is one of our local favourites, celebrating all things Basque. Young and old, the people of Zarautz dress in traditional Basque outfits to celebrate their heritage; ornate dresses for the ladies, and for the fellas, a traditional shirt, belt and Basque txupela (beret). Slightly less customary is what goes one whilst wearing said outfit.

A long-established yet slightly less conventional tradition is for the local youngsters to acquire (hint: steal) a shopping trolley, and pimp the shit out of it. We’re talking speakers, flags, decorations, umbrellas – one year there was a trolley with an entire tiki-bar attached. Once you’ve made it look the part, you then wrap the inside of the trolley with a tarp, fill it with ice and then load it with bottles of sidra. You then proceed to get very, very drunk. 

Fiestas de Aia – first week of August

Okay, so maybe we’re a bit biased on this one. This is the annual festival of our local village at the San Sebastián Surf Camp and it’s the event of the year for many of the locals here – and for good reason. The sleepy town square is transformed into a concert space, with bands performing throughout the week. It’s not uncommon for the music to start at around 10pm, and kick on until the wee hours of the next morning. Quite the feat, considering the average age of the village is probably around 50. The Basque Olympics and the paella competition on the opening day are two highlights, as well as the am-dram theatre performance, where they seem to take great delight in taking the piss out of Chris Hemsworth (his girlfriend is Basque).

Bandera de la Concha Regatta – first two Sundays of September

The Bandera de la Concha is not just a rowing regatta, but a whole event in the city of San Sebastián, second only to Semana Grande, and even then it’s a close one. Over two weekends, the local rowing teams from each barrio of Gipuzkoa compete in a fiercely contested rowing regatta. The streets are filled with rural communities, from tiny towns and villages, there to support their local team. And of course, beer, sidra and txakoli soak the streets as celebrations ensue for the winners, while the rest drown their sorrows. An event not to be missed.

San Sebastián International Film Festival – mid-late September

Whilst not out and out a fantastic time to party, the SSIFF at the beginning of September is a real event in the film festival circuit, and has brought the likes of Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz to its shores in recent years. Not only is it an opportunity to see some world class flicks with their stars and directors present, but the whole city has that festival vibe to it, and there’s a real buzz about the place fizzing through the streets.

The San Sebastian Surf House is open for an extended summer season – from Easter until early October! Lock your spot in now for a measly €1 deposit. We sold out in 2020, and with the pandemic hopefully easing we’re sure the house will fill up fast in 2021!
